Egocentric Video Capture Specialist
// DESCRIPTION
We are building large-scale first-person video data sets for embodied AI research. Your job is to follow recording protocols in your home or workspace, capturing activities like meal preparation, object manipulation, room navigation, and tool use. Every session has a checklist -- camera calibration, lighting check, activity script review -- that you run through before pressing record. The protocols are detailed but not complicated; the main requirement is consistency.
You need a reliable indoor space where you can control lighting -- a kitchen, home office, or workshop works well. We provide all camera equipment and ship it to your address at no cost. Basic tech comfort is important: you should be able to charge a device, pair it via Bluetooth, and upload large files. No filmmaking experience is needed; we care about following the protocol, not cinematic quality.
Most contributors record 3-5 sessions per week, each lasting 60-120 minutes. Payment is per accepted recording hour -- footage that does not meet quality standards may need to be re-captured. Expect to earn for 15-25 billable hours per week once you hit your stride.
