Embodied AI Data Capture Associate

This role involves wearing a body-mounted camera and recording yourself performing scripted household or workspace activities. The footage is used to train robotic manipulation models and indoor navigation systems. You will receive a schedule of activities to record each week, along with setup instructions for camera placement and lighting. After recording, you upload the files through our portal and fill out a brief metadata form describing what happened in each clip.

Physical comfort and patience are the key qualifications. Recording sessions require you to wear camera equipment while performing activities naturally -- stiffness or self-consciousness shows up in the data and reduces its value. You should also have access to at least two different indoor environments (e.g., kitchen and living room) to provide scene variety.

Most contributors record 3-5 sessions per week, each lasting 60-120 minutes. Payment is per accepted recording hour -- footage that does not meet quality standards may need to be re-captured. Expect to earn for 15-25 billable hours per week once you hit your stride.
